Convertri Updates – 10/05/22

This is a bit of an unusual email from us.

No bug fixes this week. No feature releases.

What are we doing with ourselves?

Well, here at Convertri, we’ve got the bonnet open and we’re tinkering like nobody’s business on the inner workings, springbobs and whizznuts that make up the app’s back end.

Yes, once again the devs are covered in motor oil and knee-deep in code, and no one can really tell what should go where – but we’re rebuilding. Faster. Stronger. Better. Convertri-er.

And why?

You see, all this is an endeavour to make it easier and faster for us to add new bits in the future.

Which means, whenever you put in a feature request or bug report to support@convertri.com, you’ll experience even faster happiness.

All that happiness at such a high speed is at risk of shattering the multiverse – but hey, you’re worth it.

It’s the kind of maintenance you need to do sometimes when you’ve got an app the size of Convertri.

And when you have a user base as passionate, driven and creative as you lot, it becomes less of an inter-dimensional risk and more of a pleasure.

But if you start getting reports of one-eyed tentacled monsters destroying New York… don’t blame us, ‘kay?

Things just… got out of hand.

FEATURES

Nothing as of now – but stay tuned for updates in the near future.

BUGS

No app bugs this week, so please enjoy this wonderful insect photography from our own Neil Murton:

INTERESTING STUFF

Christine McVeigh sparked an interesting discussion about email autoresponder services in the Facebook group:

Meanwhile, Jerry Quan shared a fascinating post about the key elements of a landing page:

And on this day in history, the tracks of the Central Pacific and the Union Pacific were joined at Promontory, Utah, in 1869, forming the first transcontinental railway in the United States. Connecting these two vital lines made the delivery of goods that much easier – just like when you map form field elements in our Page Builder. Find out how to do that here:

Stay safe, and happy converting!
