Convertri Updates – 30/04/24

It’s a BIG update this week – you won’t want to miss it!

One of our biggest bits of news is that we’re saying hello to a whole new element available in the page editor… say hello to ThriveCart! Now, you can embed your ThriveCart checkouts easily and seamlessly into your pages for even more functionality.

Not only that, but we’ve got a ton of new features including updates to forms and page folders, with a nifty little upgrade to our Text element that will make writing your pages much more intuitive…

So, what are you waiting for? Let’s get into it!

NEWS

Did you know that 56% of the top SERPs are held by ccTLDs? Neither did we. But why does it matter – and what on earth do all those letters mean, anyway? A ccTLD is a “country code” top level domain: that is, a .co.uk, .ca, .de, or other international suffix. And a new study shows that Google really rather likes them, and may rank them higher in search engine results. Meanwhile, over in the Facebook group, Alexa shows us how to rename funnel and video folders:

And on this day, we’re celebrating the life of Italian director Sergio Leone, who died on 30th April 1989. He popularized the “spaghetti western” with his masterpiece The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (1966), a genre so called because it featured stories about the American West yet was shot in the much cheaper Italian desert. You can also make your pages look more expensive and professional with a custom domain – find out how to do it here: https://help.convertri.com/article/238-full-walkthrough-setting-up-a-new-custom-domain

FEATURES

ThriveCart element – we’re welcoming a brand new element into the Editor family this week: ThriveCart! When you add this element to your page, you can enter your checkout embed code in the Properties panel to display your ThriveCart checkouts right on your page. It works smoothly, looks great, and lets you add world-leading ThriveCart functionality to your pages.

Text: right-click menu – up until now, we disabled right-click in the editor as it would only bring up the browser’s right click menu, which wasn’t very useful when building pages. But now it turns out we can design our own – so we did! If you select text within a Text element, you can now right click to Cut, Copy and Paste.

Form widget: theme – a couple of weeks ago we released themes for the form widget: now, we’ve added a second one! Add your form widget and customize its appearance using the Form Appearance section of its Properties panel, and you’ll see the new Minimalist theme ready to use.

Form widget: date – fancy a date? Now, you can! This all-important form field is now available in the form widget, allowing you to collect even more data from your respondents than before.

Forms: dates – you can also add dates to your custom-built forms with our brand new element. Available in the Elements tray under the Form Elements menu to collect this valuable type of data in your form.

Page folders: delete – we’ve now given you the ability to delete page folders in your funnels, so you can more easily keep everything organized.

Happy converting!
