Convertri Updates – 12/03/19

On this day in 1729, the United States Post Office was established.

And like that prestigious organisation, Convertri vows that neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night shall stay us from delivering these updates every single week.

We’re not sure if the village of Supai, at the bottom of the Grand Canyon, has a good internet connection…

But if they do, and they use Convertri – but for some reason, couldn’t get these emails – we’d send a post mule every Tuesday.

We’d call him Posty, the Convertri Mule.

And he would be very fast.

To save Posty from braving the snow or rain or heat or gloom of night in your area, all you need to do is hit CTRL+SHIFT+R – or CMD+SHIFT+R if you’re on a Mac:

BUGS

CSS – some custom CSS code could end up broken while being processed before publishing your page. Now, we wrap some bubblewrap around it and gave it a gentle kiss before sending it on its way to process safely.

Checkout – the new and improved Stripe Test Mode we released a couple of weeks ago introduced a sticky yellow header to remind you that real payments will not be processed in Test Mode. Turns out, that whenever full-width elements were present, that header would elbow other elements to the bottom, which made it harder to see what your page would really look like in Preview. We sent it on an anti-discrimination seminar and the yellow bar promises to be good from now on.

Happy converting!
