Convertri Updates – 28/07/20

The one thing you’ve been waiting for…

One reason you’ve been opening these emails for however many weeks…

That one little word you skim-read these emails (it’s fine, I know) hoping to find…

…Is finally here.

This is it, guys. You’ll be able to use PayPal from this week on.

(Pause for elation.) 🎉

And now the confetti’s stuck to the champagne on the ceiling and the screaming-related tinnitus has faded to a distant hum, let’s dive into what you’ll be getting and what you’ll have to wait a bit longer for:

RELEASED THIS WEEK:

The PayPal integration is finally here, so you’ll be able to accept PayPal as an alternative payment option on your checkout pages.

It will currently work on modal checkouts selling one-time payment products, with more functionality added soon. Payments made via PayPal will be made totally within PayPal’s own system, so you don’t need to worry about adding new field inputs to your forms. There will simply be a “pay with PayPal” option which your buyers can click.

You can integrate only one payment processor, or have both Stripe and PayPal integrated to show both options at checkout.

On a successful payment, Convertri will record any additional fields (such as billing/shipping addresses etc) and actions (redirects, etc) from what they enter into your form, not what’s contained in the customer’s PayPal account.

COMING SOON:

We’re working on adding additional functionality such as PayPal for subscription products, one-click upsells, and on-page checkouts (as opposed to modal). These aren’t available yet, but they will be.

As for adding PayPal, head to the Integrations screen in your Dashboard to add it just like any other service. You will need to republish your pages afterwards to see PayPal as an option.

Not only that, but we have a new Getting Started webinar for you to have a look at. You can find the replay here:

BUGS

No bug fixes this week, but did you know the largest insect ever to buzz around the planet is Meganeuropsis, or the griffinfly. This ancient dragonfly, which lived 290 million to

248 million years ago (before birds and dinosaurs existed), had a full wingspan of up to 2.5 feet (0.8 meters) It’s alternative name is the “huge flying nope”.

Stay safe, and happy converting!
