Did You Know…?
Using images effectively on your landing page can boost user engagement, support your message, strengthen your brand recognition, and drive revenue-boosting conversions. Here are some key image types that you may want to include:
Hero Image: The first visual element that your visitors see, highlighting your core product or service.
Product or Service Photos: Clear and high-quality action-shots of people interacting with your product or service help users to visualize how it looks and works. Showing your product or service within a desirable lifestyle or location can make it resonate with your target audience.
Before-and-After Images: Show the impact of using your product or service with a before-and-after comparison displaying home improvements, fitness goals achieved, etc.
Customer Testimonials with Photos: Build trust and credibility by sharing photos of your real-life customers alongside their positive feedback.
Icons or Illustrations: Feature icons or illustration-based steps can help users understand features and content while breaking up text.
Background Images: Add visual interest and complement your brand design with a subtle textured or light background that doesn’t distract from your text.
Awards, Certifications, or Trust Badges: Demonstrate your credibility and expertise to prospective customers.
Infographics: Make complex product data or concepts more digestible.
The images you choose should be visually appealing, relevant to your product or service, and optimized for quick loading for mobile and desktop users. We can’t wait to see what you create!
On This Day in History
On 1 April, 1748, the ruins of Pompeii, Italy were discovered by Roque Joaquín de Alcubierre, a Spanish archeologist and former military engineer.
Mount Vesuvius’ eruption in 79 AD buried and preserved the Ancient Roman town under volcanic ash and pumice. When the excavation of its remains began 1669 years later, Pompeii appeared to have been frozen in time.
Visitors to the UNESCO Heritage site get a unique glimpse into the life of Pompeii’s 10-20,000 former inhabitants. Various styles of architecture and art reflect urban planning, different social classes, and the language used. The town’s formerly public and private buildings display mosaics, Fresco mural paintings, and/or graffiti in the largely-lost, colloquial Vulgar Latin. Today, about one-third of the town remains unexcavated.
