Convertri Updates – 12/11/24

Happy Tuesday, Convertri fans!

In our continued effort to streamline your design process, we’ve added default text styles for form inputs. This new feature, highlighted in Alexa’s latest Facebook video, allows you to set standard styles for all input fields, saving you time on customization and ensuring a consistent look across your pages. Now, your forms will automatically adhere to your chosen design standards, making it easier to focus on the content rather than the design.

Check out Alexa’s video on how to use this feature: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/19RytRwMhv/

20 of the Best Fonts for your Website

This blog article on choosing the best fonts for your website emphasizes selecting fonts that align with your brand, enhance readability, and create a cohesive design. It suggests using no more than two to three fonts to avoid clutter and highlights the importance of contrast between font styles (e.g., pairing serif and sans-serif). The article also advises considering font size, spacing, and hierarchy, and checking readability across devices. Finally, it recommends using web-safe or Google Fonts for compatibility and fast loading times, ensuring a user-friendly experience that reflects your brand’s tone.

How to Choose the Best Fonts for your Website

This Day in History (World Wide Web)

On November 12, 1994, Tim Berners-Lee launched the first website, marking the dawn of the World Wide Web. Early websites were simple, text-based, and lacked design focus. As the internet grew, web design evolved, and fonts became essential for creating functional, engaging, and visually appealing online experiences. Today, web designers can choose from countless fonts, using tools like Google Fonts and advanced CSS to craft unique, on-brand sites that are both readable and professional across devices. Typography has become a powerful tool for enhancing legibility, brand identity, and user experience.

Bug Fixes

We’ve also addressed several issues to ensure Convertri runs smoothly:

  • Previously, when adding a new domain to Convertri, if the ‘www’ subdomain already existed, an error would occur. This issue has been rectified, and now you can easily add new domains without any trouble.
  • There was a problem with the ‘www’ subdomain not being automatically created when adding a custom domain. This bug has been resolved, and custom domains will now function as expected.
  • Tooltips in the Properties panel at General Properties > Pass on URL parameters were showing up empty when hovering over the “Pass on URL parameters” option. This has now been fixed, and you can see the relevant information clearly when you hover.

Happy converting!
