Convertri Updates – 24/09/24
Happy Tuesday Convertri Fans!
We’re here with our weekly update to share some news, new features, and a video with some helpful tips to use CSS on your pages. Check it out!
This week in marketing: The Google Core Update completed on Sep 3, 2024, but businesses are still learning about the impact that Google’s core update had on their SEO, site visibility, and search rankings – and not everyone’s happy about it. Curious about how search related results were impacted by this update? Check out Search Engine Land’s report here.
This day in History: The first episode of 60 Minutes aired on CBS on September 24,1968 as an investigative news segment. Featuring exposés on celebrities, presidents, the Vietnam War, and Watergate, 60 Minutes has won hundreds of awards – but you can create a page in Convertri in less than 60 minutes to start your own award-winning business. See more here.
Alexa shared some Tips and Tricks in our Facebook Community, sharing context on how you can add CSS codes to your Convertri pages. Check out Alexa’s tutorial video here!
If you’re looking for even more CSS that you can use to customize your page, the example code she used came from Mike Major who offers a ton of Convertri tips and tricks on his website here.
New Convertri Features:
You can now move a domain from your main account to a client’s sub-account (Agency & Maximize only): Previously the only way to build a site for your client was within your account via a share link – and then all of the links on the page would need to be reset once moved into the client’s account. Now, a top-level account can move a site into a sub-account by shifting the domain!
The ability to move to a sub-account is now available under the “More” option within a domain.
You can now make Wistia Videos sticky: We’ve always had the option to make our own videos sticky, and recently rolled out the ability to do this with Youtube and Vimeo, but now you can do this with Wistia-hosted videos as well! Making a Wistia video sticky will ensure that those videos stick to the top of the page as visitors scroll.
Happy converting!
