Convertri Updates – 12/09/23
Subject: UPDATE: Date formats, jumping headers, and more…
Let the DD/MM – MM/DD debate rage on…
It’s almost autumn here in the UK: the leaves have started changing, the scent of pumpkin spice is wafting on the intolerably hot breeze, and the Christmas decorations are already elbowing out the skeletons and bats in stores.
It’s gonna be a good one, folks.
In this week’s email, we’ve got a major update to our fresh-out-the-oven Date element, as well as a video from our resident expert all about how to use it.
We’ve also got the usual round of helpful bug fixes and resources that we think you’ll find interesting.
Let’s dive in:
FEATURES
Dates – last week we introduced our new Date element, where you can add today’s date onto your page. Now we’re adding different styles so you can format that date the way you want. Find different formats in your date’s Properties panel.
BUGS
View Cart – if this button is below the fold on your page, you’d be forgiven in thinking that clicking it was doing nothing. In actual fact, the cart opens at the top of the page. We’ve fixed it, so now the cart opens wherever you are on the page.
Shared headers – if you clicked an Add to Cart or Purchase button on your page, the shared header might have jumped down to the middle of the page. We’ve fixed that now.
Funnel sharing – if someone views a shared link while not being logged in, they are shown a page where they can sign up to Convertri (and if they do so, the person who owns the page they’re viewing gets commission if they stick around after the trial). The preview may not have displayed correctly, as well as videos being broken on the sign-up page. We’ve fixed these issues now.
Pages – after exiting the Page Builder, you may have been sent back to the home folder instead of the folder where the page lives. We’ve given it a map and you’ll be taken to the right place from now on.
Taxes – your tax report may have displayed 0 for both Volume and ‘Tax Taken’ columns even if you have orders with applied taxes. We’ve fixed this now.
INTERESTING STUFF
This week in the Facebook group, Alexa gives us a tour of the new Date element:

And on this day in history, we’re celebrating the life of Johnny Cash, the country music legend who died on this day back in 2003. His song “Walk the Line” became his first #1 Billboard hit, and went on to become the title of his 2005 biopic starring Joaquin Phoenix. Did you know you can easily add vertical and horizontal lines in Convertri? You can find them in the More Elements section of the Elements tray.
