Convertri Updates – 06/12/22

Happy Tuesday, Convertri fans!

For the first time in a couple of years, we can gather with loved ones totally without fear of lockdowns or restrictions.

It’s been a weird old time these last few Christmases, so it’s good to look forward to one that’s guaranteed to be a bit more social. And what better way to celebrate than with social icons for your pages?

We have that new feature in store for you, as well as webhook and help doc updates – so read on to find out more!

FEATURES

Social icons – we’ve added a social media icon set, which you can find in the Social folder when you add an icon element.

Webhooks – webhooks now include product variant data, so all the relevant information can be sent.

BUGS

None this week, so here’s an interesting bug fact – the ant-eating assassin bug piles its victims onto its body to scare predators. That’s metal as heck.

INTERESTING STUFF

This week in the group, Alexandra walks us through how to set up different types of checkouts on your page:

Meanwhile, Dan teases a brand new upcoming feature:

And finally, on this day in history, NASA released images in 2006, taken by the Mars Global Surveyor, that indicated the relatively recent presence of water on Mars. The image resolution was about 3.5 m (11.5 feet) per pixel, which is pretty big. If you were to load those images into Convertri, the app would automatically scale those down for faster loading. However, if you’d rather preserve every pixel of intergalactic wonder, you can lean how to adjust image compression here:

Happy converting!
