Convertri Updates – 27/09/22

Good morning/afternoon/evening, Convertri fans! How are you today?

No matter what you’re doing and what you’re selling, we hope this brisk autumn morning finds you good and ready for another fun-packed Convertri update.

Read on to discover what’s new:

FEATURES

Products – if you had a very large monitor, or very short product names, you may not have noticed this but product names often get cut off with a “…” after just a few characters on smaller screens. This would be really annoying if you sell multiple products with the same word at the beginning. For example, “Convertri Pro”, “Convertri Agency” and “Convertri Standard” would all display as “Convert…” which isn’t particularly helpful. We’ve added a tooltip, so that when you over over your product’s name in the Orders and Products screens you’ll see the full name.

BUGS

YouTube – if you set a shadow for the Youtube element, it may have only shown in the Page Editor, and not on the live page.  We’ve fixed it.

Icons – on live desktop pages, only the background of icons may have shown, appearing as empty containers. If you set a background colour to an image that has transparency behind the image, then on desktop only, the background colour that is selected seems to blanket over the entire image on desktop live page. It will show correctly on mobile. If the background of the image is set to ‘transparent’, then the image will show fine on desktop — but in any case, we fixed the issues.

And finally, on this day in history, after being delayed by bad weather, William, duke of Normandy, embarked his army and set sail for the southeastern coast of England in 1066 in what would go down in history as the Norman Conquest. As bad weather closes in here in the 21st century, you don’t need to venture outside to conquer your destiny: you can do so with Convertri, from the cosy comfort of your sofa.
