Convertri Updates – 15/03/22

As the weather gets a little warmer, you may be noticing creepy-crawlies waking up after a few months of hibernation.

Scuttling around, making a nuisance of themselves and whatnot.

The same is true around Convertri HQ – so much so that this week, our devs have been busy squashing bugs instead of releasing the cool new features we have lined up for you in the near future.

Rest assured, Convertri is now smoother and easier to use – but this week is definitely more bug-focused than otherwise.

We also have a bunch of new help docs for you to check out, so make sure you have a look at those as well as checking out the newest posts in the Facebook group.

Here’s your updates for this week:

FEATURES

No new features released this week, but check back soon for interesting things coming your way in the near future.

BUGS

Paragraphs – paragraph spacing was being applied to bullets in the editor, but not on the published page. We’ve fixed it.

Text links – when you created a hyperlink in a text element, it would create a link for each and every letter in the hyperlink rather than one hyperlink for all the highlighted text… obviously this was weird and not how things should work at all, so we squished all those links back together and now they’ll work as usual.

Mobile font size – when you go to the mobile editor and change the mobile font size scaling from the default text styles, the change you make does not get applied to text on the page. If you select/highlight the text, it shows as though the new figure has been displayed in the dropdown, however it has not actually been applied to the text. We’ve fixed it.

Funnels – if your funnel has a lot of page cards close together, clicking on a page card’s 3-dot menu might not show because it falls underneath the other page cards that are in the way. We’ve shuffled the deck, and now the one you click will always be on top.

Publishing – page publishing errors were not showing, which was misleading in cases where there were in fact errors. We’ve fixed it so now you’ll be told whenever there’s an error publishing your page.

INTERESTING STUFF

In the Facebook group, Steven Alvery made a great point about video thumbnails which sparked a discussion about GIFs and a feature request:

And elsewhere in the Facebook group, Dion shared a great way to connect Convertri with Shopify:

And on this day in history, Julius Caesar was assassinated in 44 BC by a group of nobles including Cassius and Brutus after launching a series of political reforms. His last words, “infamy, infamy, they’ve all got it infamy!” became immortalised in history, and his legacy lives on in a salad dressing. Avoid your pages being assassinated by nefarious sources and improve your site’s security by setting up SSL:
