Convertri Updates – 25/08/21
As it’s been a month since our last big blog update, here’s all the latest news from Convertri HQ.
Our brand new form widget is still being refined, but the good news is that the testing process is going super and we’re on track for its release in the near future. And when this new feature drops, you’ll be able to have as many steps as you like in your form, and be able to split it wherever you please.
The new form builder widget can be used for creating short forms, long ones, opt-ins and even a simple checkout if you so wish.
Not only that, but more input types such as dropdowns and checkboxes are on the cards for after its release, so you’ll be able to create more complex forms with it, all in good time. For now, we just need to squash a couple more little bugs and give it a bit more polish.
In the meantime, our Facebook Conversion API integration has been submitted to the almighty overseers at Facebook for approval, so we’re hoping to get that into the app soon.
We’ll keep you updated as always, so why not check out what else is new:

FEATURES
Quantities – you can now set a custom quantity range for your dropdown elements. Enter custom quantities using a comma to separate items, and customers will be able to choose from this list as well as the default 1-10 quantities, which is always shown.
Form validation – you can now add custom validation text to your forms. In Page Settings, click on the new Warning Messages tab, and you’ll be able to change ‘this value is required’ to your own custom message.
Campaign Refinery – you can now capture more data with this integration, as custom fields are now available to map to your forms once you have them set up in Campaign Refinery.
BUGS
Videos – we had an issue with one of the providers in our video hosting stack, so videos hosted on the Convertri system were not playing. Self-hosted videos and videos using YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia were not affected, and now we’re happy to say that bug has been fixed.
