Convertri Updates – 24/11/20

Happy Thanksgiving to all our stateside friends, and everyone around the world who enjoys any excuse to dribble maple syrup on sausages and eat sweet potatoes with marshmallows.

FEATURES

Subdomains– when you set up a new custom domain, we automatically create the www subdomain and a redirect to the root domain. But we didn’t automatically enable SSL on the www subdomain, which means if someone uses https://www.domain.com, they get an SSL error rather than a redirect. To fix the problem you used to have to remove the redirect, enable SSL on the www subdomain, and then set up the redirect again. We thought this was jolly silly, so now we automatically enable SSL on the www subdomain for you.

Email form – when using our email form feature, there used to be no way of knowing which product the user had purchased. That made life a bit more difficult than we expected, so we’ve added a Product field to your email notifications so you can tell who bought what.

We’ve updated the following funnel to make the most of Convertri’s newest features:

BUGS

Layers – if you create a layer on a page and add a video, the sound will continue to play after the layer has been closed. The user can’t stop the sound because they can’t get the layer back. We’ve fixed it.

Checkout– when you set up a product in the Page Builder and then select Preview to see what the modal checkout will look like on the page, the editor goes grey and freezes and you can’t exit this broken preview state. Not ideal, so we fixed it.

Funnel share – when someone who isn’t logged in to Convertri clicks on a funnel share link, they get taken to a sign up page. Unfortunately, something’s gone wrong with it. The funnel name looks like code and the Preview Your Funnel section is empty. Everything’s fixed now, so things will look how they should.
