Convertri Updates – 08/09/20

Good morning or afternoon on this fine Tuesday, we’re hoping it finds you well.

This week in Convertri country, we’ve got the usual rounds of bug fixes and new templates, as well as a script-focused feature we’ll hope you’ll love if you enjoy adding extra functionality to your pages.

We also have some help doc clarifications that will help set you right if you need a helping hand when using the app.

Scripts – you can now choose what order you want your scripts to run. Previously, our script run order was unintuitive because Convertri applied the narrowest-scope scripts first and the widest-scope scripts last. This meant, as an example, page-level scripts couldn’t reference funnel-level scripts – which was hardly optimal. Thanks to a script-minded user who pointed this out, we’ve now given you the ability to choose which order you want your scripts to run!  Just click on Account in the Dashboard, then Scripts in the left hand menu.

BUGS

DNS – it used to be impossible to create DNS records with multiple strings, because double quotes wouldn’t work properly. We’ve fixed it, so now you can put whatever you want in a TXT record and more of your emails will reach your subscribers.

Shared Headers – shared headers may vanish  when the website is scrolled on Chrome. This is due to a bug in Chrome’s system. Once we discovered the problem, we were able to create a workaround and everything should be working as normal. You’ll need to republish pages with shared headers to see everything working properly.
