Convertri Updates – 01/09/20
How does a word arranger, just a stranger (although executive)
Find inspiration among the perspiration of writing a weekly email
To keep it fresh for the followers? And not as hollow as
Perhaps some of our competition… I’ve gotta say it’s a mission.
But hey, I’ve got a secret up my sleeve, you’ll want to hear it.
The best way to approach a task and then to clear it –
Is to find inspiration from a higher station:
A creation about the foundation of a fledgling nation
And then blatantly to steal it.
I’m talking Hamilton of course – finally I see this work of art
(About four scores – and sixty months – after everyone else already knows it off by heart)
But hey, better late than never.
And it allows this Brit to feel quite clever
Breathing fresh life into this Tuesday dit.
Don’t worry – I’ll go get on with it.
This week…
We’ve got a webinar on replay, help you make your clients pay,
Tune in on next Thursday for the best way to get started with Convert-ray,
Cast your vote so you can gloat you made the newest shiny idea float
We’ve also been capitalising on the organising of our elements, and the re-sizing
Of those damn Submit buttons has been surprising…
But nothing our devs couldn’t fix.
And finally in my bag of tricks,
We’ve updated the outdated and truncated over-inflated words in docs where help is demonstrated in a captivating way by my own highly caffeinated voice.
Oh, by the way – we know you have a choice, and we’re so glad you chose Convertri.
By next week I’ll have forgotten this rhyme scheme
So I’m going to take my leave of this email before it turns into a crime scene –
But I’ll leave you with some wise words I’m gonna preach here:
Using Convertri? Hit CTRL+SHIFT+R (or CMD+SHIFT+R if you’re on a Mac) to see the new features.
(Lin-Manuel Miranda, if you’re reading this – please forgive me.)

HELP DOCS
We’ve updated a help doc about connecting WordPress membership sites to reflect Convertri’s new Zapier integration:
FEATURE VOTING
Want to help decide where Convertri is heading? Check out the list of upcoming features, and vote to tell us which you want to see first at https://convertri.featureupvote.com/.
FEATURES
Element Names – at various points in the app, we have links to named elements and layers, such as choosing a target for Actions and Events. The problem was, they were being listed in z-order, lowest first. That… was not very intuitive. Instead, we’ve reordered them alphabetically by name, so if you have a lot of named elements you can now quickly find the one you want. Thanks to Jim Rigney for giving us this idea!
Page templates (PRO) –
Music Teacher (opt-in 1)
Music Teacher (opt-in 2)
Music Teacher (thank you)
BUGS
HTML Forms – dropdowns weren’t being included in sent form information if you were using HTML form integration. We’ve fixed that, so now no information will be left behind.
GDPR – users may have seen an error when trying to delete their data from Convertri servers. We’ve now fixed it.
Order export files – if a customer deleted their data from Convertri, as they might want to do for reasons of GDPR and privacy, your order export download would break. Now, we’ve fixed it, and for every piece of data that is missing because the customer removed it you’ll see an explanation message.
Buttons – Submit buttons were defaulting back to their original height if you change the mode. We’ve cut them back down to size.
PayPal – some user credentials were not being saved properly. We fixed it.
Stay safe, and happy converting!
