Convertri Update – 17/12/19
Seasons flow into each other almost imperceptibly: trees lose one or two leaves, the air blows a little colder one autumn afternoon, the first snowfall arrives before you know it.
Unless you live in Scotland, like me, where winter often barges its way in like the uncle no one likes: with a loud, phlegmy cough, halfway through an August barbecue, with a bottle of whisky in one hand and inappropriate gifts in the other.
Let’s face it: when it comes to most transitions (and relatives), most people just want a smooth, easy ride. No fuss. No other software.
So, this week, like how the rusted fire leaves of autumn are gradually covered with snow, we’re giving you the ability to add gentle gradients to your backgrounds for pages and elements.
It means you won’t have to create an external image, and you can make your pages look even better, even easier.
Avoid the yellow snow and hit CTRL+SHIFT+R (or CMD+SHIFT+R if you’re on a Mac) to see what’s new:

BUGS
No bugs this week, so it’s another random bug fact: the yellow Christmas beetle of Australia is so named because you can find loads of them around close to Christmas. Members of the scarab family, they’re noisy and clumsy fliers, and have a shovel-shaped snout – not to clear driveways, but to flip over mating rivals.
Happy converting!
Beth
