Convertri Updates – 30/07/19
Onions. Cakes. Ogres.
Also – award-winning political dramas, ask-the-manager hairstyles, and the earth’s crust.
This week, it’s all about layers.
Major seismic shifts affect our Layers feature this week. We’ve added functionality as well as a design overhaul, for better, faster and stronger multi-tiered site building.
It should make creating, organising and editing layers a lot easier.
And of course, we have the usual Pro templates and bug fixes for you as well.
So, what are you waiting for? Experience the all-new Layers by hitting CTRL+SHIFT+R – or CMD+SHIFT+R if you’re on a Mac – to see what’s new:
FEATURES
Layers – the Layers dialog got pretty confusing as we added new features, so we’ve given it a makeover. It should now be a lot easier to know what’s scrollable, what’s visible on mobile, and which layer you’re editing.
Reordering – you can now also change the order of layers, so if you have more than one you can choose which will be on top. Simply drag and drop your layers in the new-look Layers dialog.
Layer Visibility – also, you can now view more than one layer at once. This means you can easily see how layers will look together when multiple ones are open. You can have as many as you want visible at any one time, but only one will be editable.
Mobile Text – we’ve given you the option to alter the default mobile font scaling value, meaning you don’t have to edit every text element separately if you want your mobile text to scale to 120%, for example, instead of Convertri’s default 150%. You can find this setting in the Page dialog.

BUGS
Stripe Test Mode – if a published page existed where the Stripe was set to test mode, even if there was no product set, the live page would have the ‘test mode’ banner. This wasn’t ideal, as pages should only show in test mode when there’s a product selected. We’ve fixed it.
Domains – you may have experienced issues when adding and managing WWW subdomains. We’ve fixed these, so you shouldn’t get any more weird errors.
Happy converting!
