Convertri Updates – 16/07/19

I hope so! Don’t forget to drink enough water, breathe mindfully for a few minutes, take some holiday if you can, and carve aside an hour or two in the evening to unplug and read a book if you can’t.

This week, we have a bumper update stuffed with features and fixes we hope will make our corner of the internet less stressful and more enjoyable to experience.

FEATURES
Countdowns – you can now display the end time of your countdown by creating a copy of your countdown, and choosing it to display as text in its Properties panel.
Form Inputs – we’ve made forms a lot easier to set up and use, by giving you pre-defined First Name, Last Name and Email inputs (instead of one Text Box for all) that will automatically integrate with your autoresponder, without the need for mapping. This will make building forms a lot quicker, and a lot easier.
Forms dialog – we’ve made some changes to the Forms dialog that will make it easier to use. From now on, Post Submission Redirects will now be called Thank You pages, as is the industry standard (they’re still the same thing: the page your users are taken to after submitting your form). We’ve also added easier navigation to this setting after you configure your form, so you don’t forget, and rearranged the menu so it’s easier to see what you need to configure for API (i.e. third-party service) forms and HTML forms.
Textarea – this form input has been renamed to make it easier to understand what it actually is: a multi-line text input, or paragraph box.
Mobile Editor – you can now remobilise a page separately from its layers, which means it’s less likely you’ll lose a ton of work.

BUGS
Aweber – if a subscriber already existed on an Aweber list, and someone tried to add it again with different tags, the attempt to add it will fail. This meant the duplicate record isn’t added, and the original that was already on the list is unaffected. We’ve fixed it.
Images – your images may have flickered while they were being resized. We fixed it.
Form emails – form submission notifications emails had an extra “ ” (that’s fancy dev code for a space) showing in the message. We’ve fixed that.
Collections – you may have seen an error when selecting a template from Collections: “One of cloned elements is outdated. Skipping.” This has been fixed now.
