Convertri Updates – 02/04/19

Happy April everybody!

The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and spring is – whisper it – looking like it’s finally here.

Not that our developers know this, because they’re locked up in darkened rooms creating the code that will make Convertri bloom like a beautiful flower.

(It’s better this way, they turn to ash when exposed to sunlight)

Beth is not locked up. We’ve released her on a two-week pass so she can remind her friends and family she still exists, but don’t worry – she’ll be back soon.

This week we’ve made some significant progress on the new contact form system – you can expect to see that on pages near you very soon.

We’re also starting work on one of the most-requested features we’ve had – content blocks.

With these you’ll be able to add pre-built sections into your Convertri pages, so you don’t have to build from scratch.

And of course as soon as they’re on your page, you’ll be able to edit and adjust them however you like, just as if you built them yourself.

  • Stage 1 will let you add in a range of sections created by our own crack design team.
  • Stage 2 will let you save your own sections as templates, to use on any of your Convertri pages.

As ever, we’re not sure exactly when the release is going to happen. With the amount of testing this will need, it’s probably a few weeks away.

But it is coming.

And on top of all that, we also found time to add the start of a brand new funnel for Pro users.

To update, force-refresh your browser with Convertri running (CTRL + SHIFT + R, or CMD + SHIFT + R if you’re on a Mac), and you’ll see these changes:

HELP DOCS:

Moving Funnels Between Domains: this article now has a video attached, so you can watch Beth shift funnels from one domain to the other in less than 30 seconds.

FEATURES:

[PRO] New Templates: Nothing sells like video, and this month we’re starting a brand new funnel that puts video front and centre. This week, you get:

  • Opt-In: A video opt-in based on a popular design, with space for bullets, a strong headline and an arrow to direct viewers straight to your sign-up form.
  • Thank You: A simple video-led thank you page letting you make a personal connection with your leads as soon as they’ve signed up.

BUGS:

None this week, but we’ve got a couple of fixes in progress. Watch this space!

IN OTHER NEWS:

In the Facebook group recently, I was asked for a video about lead magnets, and I made one last week.

In it, I’ve laid out:

– What makes (and doesn’t make) a good lead magnet
– Why the 2-page checklists you can make in half an hour are actually BETTER for your leads than an in-depth 30-page report you need to spend 3 weeks writing
– Examples of good lead magnets in different niches
– 4 great places to mine for high-converting lead magnet ideas
– How to set up your lead magnet delivery in Convertri
