Convertri Updates – 04/12/18
Roll up your newspaper and slap on your squishin’ goggles – it’s Bug Week!
This second instalment of our shiny new Convertri tradition will see the dev family chug back Monster Energy as they hurl projectiles and smoke bombs at annoying bits of code that won’t play fair.
It’s our very own version of Whacking Day.
As the big, spiny bugs that stomp around eating pages get fixed quicker than the smaller creepy crawlies, today’s the day the devs suit up and take care of what’s underneath the floorboards.
As always if you have a bug you think we might have overlooked or just want to get in touch, let us know by sending a SOS to support@convertri.com.
In other news, we’ll be running a Q&A webinar on Saturday 8th Dec at 11AM EST, and you should totally come (you can tell your parents our parents say it’s okay).
If you’re a new user getting started with the app, it’s a valuable opportunity to pose your questions directly to the Convertri team. But everyone’s welcome, as long as you RSVP using the link below:

Once you’ve done that, please force-refresh to ignite the flux capacitor and travel to Convertri’s future – just hit CTRL + SHIFT + R (or CMD + SHIFT + R if you’re on a Mac) to see the updates:

You’ll find some excellent knowledge dropped on the blog this week about writing emails to get more clicks. With tips, hacks, and hints galore, you’re bound to find something helpful.
So if you want a few useful hacks for making those emails pop, head over to the blog and check it out:
FEATURES
Page templates [PRO] –
Innovate (contact) – a futuristic theme for tech and hardware.
Kelly (delivery) – bright and cheerful, this page delivers the goods.
Lavender (delivery) – a rich purple greets your customers with their new product.
Heart (delivery) – a page with space for your non-profit video.
BUGS
Sub-accounts – sessions might have been worryingly shortened lately, when they should last for at least a week of inactivity. We fixed the problem, so it is unlikely you’ll be kicked out when working on an important page.
Page Importer – it was having problems bringing in pages with inputs whose fonts were set to something it didn’t like. We’ve told it to grow up, and sent it to a typeface discrimination seminar where it stole all the pens. It promises to act better in future.
Page Importer – as well as font discrimination, the importer also had bad ideas about border control: it was insisting a border radius of 50% was actually 50 pixels. This made round things look weird, so we’ve educated it some more and now it’s woke.
Undo/redo – when undoing or redoing an action, the page was failing to scroll where the action happened so you could see it. We’ve fixed that.
DNS – when you opened your CONVERTRI record to edit, it was shown as a CNAME record with custom.convertri.com value (as CONVERTRI record is a shortcut for that) and it was misleading. Now it’s not.
Split testing – when you published a split test to a path ending with a /, split test analytics were not shown (but they were collected without any problems). Now stats are shown no matter if there’s a slash or not.
Happy converting!
