Convertri Updates – 16/10/18

Welcome to Convertri!

This is a shoutout to all our brand new users, for whom we’ve released a special feature this week.

Hi. Welcome to the house of fun.

(Da-da da-da daa…)

It’s important for us to remember that, with each new feature, update and bug fix, we’re building stories that our long-term users can follow along with.

But, at the same time, it’s great for old and new users alike to get a refresher sometimes – just in case an email was missed, or a week was spent livin’ life instead of building sales funnels.

(No idea why, but I guess there must be other stuff people like to do. Build Lego?)

And I don’t mean just the basics.

There’s a ton of cool little tips and tricks to Convertri, which have been lovingly layered in a cosy stratigraphy of productivity and keyboard shortcuts throughout the eons, which you may have yet to discover.

That’s why we created a brand new video, for old and new users alike, to refresh you in the basics of the Convertri Page Builder (and show you some cool hacks).

And as usual… you’ll need to force-refresh Convertri if you’re using it right now to see the updates. Just hit CTRL + SHIFT + R (or CMD + SHIFT + R if you’re on a Mac):

FEATURES

Onboarding – we’ve added a welcome video that explains some parts of the editor that are hard to discover. New users will see it when they open the Page Editor for the first time – but if you veterans are keen to see it, you can find it by clicking Help > Watch Intro Video in the Page Builder.

Affiliates – previously, your affiliate stats screen (at Affiliate > Promote) only showed details for your shared funnels. We’ve added stats for your normal affiliate links and the Powered by Convertri badge, so you can see how much you’re earning.

Records – previously, you had to wrap a value in double quotes manually when adding a TXT record (Account > Domains > Custom domain via Nameserver > Records). This is done automatically now.

Page templates [PRO] –
Manful (delivery) – a rugged delivery page for our Manful theme
Manful (upsell) – sell them something extra that’s masculine (razors? Lumberjack insurance?)
Manful (thank you) – a manly shake of the hand to round things off

BUGS

Exit Intent – the exit intent triggers were occasionally misfiring when an option from a form field autocomplete list was selected. We recalibrated the flux capacitors and changed the spark plugs, so now she’s all good to go.

Positioning – you can now enter negative values for the Y coordinate in element positioning. It’ll let you move elements slightly above the top edge of the page, which can be used to hide part of an image or to place a part of a text very close to the top (ignoring top padding that text elements usually have).

Safari – 1-click upsells didn’t work in Safari (affecting users on Macs and iPhones) on pages exported to HTML or pages displayed via the Convertri WordPress plugin. We fixed that.

Happy converting!
