Convertri Updates – 02/10/18
Today, a long-awaited feature is being released into the wild.
Our devs have been working on it quite a while, so you KNOW it’s a big one.
From everyone here at Convertri, we’re delighted to announce the arrival of… product groups!
(Confetti! Fireworks! Marching bands! Churros!)
Oh, yes – now you’ll be able to create your own product groups and let your valued customers peruse them at their leisure.
Groups are totally flexible: Convertri doesn’t know if your groups are by size, color or anything else, so you can group products how you want.
All you need is to group all your sizes/colours/variants together, and your customers will be able to pick.
(We hope you’re as excited about this as we are.)
Please note, product groups currently only work with the modal checkout, so make sure you enable that if you have variants you want customers to choose from.
So, let’s get down to it: if you’re using Convertri right now, you’ll need to force-refresh to see the updates by hitting CTRL + SHIFT + R (or CMD + SHIFT + R if you’re on a Mac):
ON THE BLOG
What happens when we click on Facebook ads, so you don’t have to?
How can you create a quiz funnel like the one business expert Kirsten Poborsky uses to sell her mini course?
And what’s your Blogging Animal Guide?
All this and more is revealed in this week’s Funnel Analysis (by the way, I am totally an eagle):
FEATURES
Product Groups – that’s right baby, it’s finally here! Products can now be grouped so you can offer a choice on your sales page. This can be according to any criteria you choose, e.g. they can be a quantity of your product, small, medium or large, or red, yellow or blue. A group will just be a name to Convertri: you decide what it means.
New product groups can be added on the Cart > Products screen. You can set price, webhook URL and autoresponder settings for a group, and these settings will be applied automatically to all products in a group by default. But if you don’t like that, you can change the settings for each individual product.
Adding a group to a page is as easy as adding a regular product. Just select the group on the Product tab of the Checkout Config dialog, and when a group is set up for a page your leads will be able to select any (non-archived) product belonging to that group on the page before checkout.
(Remember, this only works with the modal checkout right now.)
Affiliate Links – last week, we introduced affiliate links for shared funnels. Now, that shared funnel preview page is a real sales page for non-members, so you have a greater chance of earning more commission with Convertri.
Page Editor – we’ve added a snazzy central snap line so you can easily tell when your elements are in the middle of the page.
