Convertri Updates – 9.12.18

There’s two kinds of New Years Resolutioners:

One who, by January 8th, has their hair cut and diet on track, a crisp new planner under their arm ready to tackle the year ahead (pens arranged by RGB numbers in their acrylic case)…

And those who, like myself, were dragged bleary-eyed into 2018 with no money and a Netflix hangover, surviving on a fridge of dwindling leftovers such as the last crumb of blue cheese and a splodge of bread sauce, balanced on a coconut Quality Street.

Lucky for you, the rest of the office are the first type.

So, safe to say we’ve hit the ground running this January with a handy new feature, a bunch of bug fixes – and an intensive two-part post-Christmas tidying up session, in which we help you to help us to help you.

Explanation:

Item one on the tidying up list is changing to a new helpdesk system, HelpScout, who already hosts our help docs. This means the whole help system is more streamlined, and you’ll now get a satisfaction survey when tickets are resolved so you can rate your experience. (We’re still getting to grips with it, so watch your head if anything pings off and let us know if we mess up.)

And speaking of surveys, item two is our customer-wide survey. Neil sent out an email yesterday, but just in case you didn’t get it here’s the link to go and fill it in:

So, without further ado, here’s the features – and remember, if you’re using Convertri right now, you’ll need to force-refresh (CTRL + SHIFT + R, or CMD + SHIFT + R if you’re on a Mac) your browser to see the changes:

FEATURES
Autoresponder APIs – you can now tag your prospects in the Forms dialog (if your autoresponder supports it).

New templates [PRO] –
Aflame – a checkout page to set your sales on fire.
Conversion Cloud – a pastel sales page for stylish products.
Float – a simple yet uplifting thank you page.

BUGS

Forms – Convertri can’t read form fields without a ‘name’ attribute, so we weren’t letting you add forms to the page when this was the case. We’ve changed it so those fields will be ignored (but you can still add the form to your page and use it if you want).

Colorzilla – this is our favourite colour-picker browser extension, the one we recommend using with Convertri. We, uh, broke it. Now we’ve fixed it.

Page Importer – if any of your imported pages contained the font Roboto, it might not have displayed correctly because we weren’t attaching the file to the page. Now we are – so your pages should look as expected.

Prospects – Convertri was running out of memory when you’d collected too many prospects. (Can we just give a shoutout to the guy who found that out? Way to go!) We’ve now fixed the charts on the Dashboard page, so you can go ahead and try and smash those targets this year.

GoToWebinar – the API URL changed, basically saying, ‘new URL, who dis?’ This meant our integration stopped working. We’ve updated it now, so now it’s fixed.
