Convertri Updates – 17/10/17
What was your favourite part about Back to the Future?
Marty’s orange puffer jacket?
The strange foretelling of Biff as president looking almost exactly like Donald Trump?
Or the fact that it inspired Rick & Morty?
All excellent reasons to love these movies – but for us, it was the idea that in 2015 we’d all have neon pink and green hoverboards.
Unfortunately, that never happened – but the rainy afternoons and dark mornings we’ve been having lately have made perfect movie weather, and we’ve been inspired to bring hover technology to this futuristic world of 2017.
That’s right – hover styles are in!
(And you can make them pink and green if you want to.)
Check out these radical updates, and don’t forget if you’re using Convertri right now, you need to force-refresh (CTRL + SHIFT + R, or CMD + SHIFT + R if you’re on a Mac) your browser to see what’s new:
FEATURES
Element ID – the element ID can now be found in the General section of the Properties panel, so you can use it for your own custom code.
Hover styles – they’re here! Go into the Properties panel, and you can now set hover styles for background, border and shadow color on all elements (plus also for text colour on form elements).
New templates [PRO] –
Black Friday – this urgency-stirring template is sure to get customers excited for your sale.
Insured – instil trust with this professional-looking template.
Kreamery – a mom-n-pop restaurant feel in a classic foodie template.
BUGS
Fonts – fonts were being duplicated in the font manager when the font had been disabled but was still being used on the page… opening that page in the editor caused the font to be re-enabled and imported multiple times. This has been fixed so now the font will still be re-enabled if it’s in use on the page, but it’ll only appear in the font manager once.
Usernames – special characters weren’t displaying properly in usernames, leading to anyone with an apostrophe in their names looking like they were an undercover Terminator. This has been fixed, so if your name’s O’Brien, it’ll display as O’Brien.
Sites – the ‘add site’ button wasn’t visible when all sites were archived, which was a bit of a kick in the teeth, really. This has been fixed.
Page forms – it used to be possible to attach both an HTML form and a product to the same page, even though only one of them could work. Now, you can’t attach both of them to your page. If you want to have a form along with a product on your page, please use API forms instead.
