Onions, cakes, ogres…

(There’s no prize for Most Irreverent Reference of the Week, I’m just that good.)

Yes, I’m talking about layers.

This Fourth of July, as you tuck into a nice pulled pork jacket potato straight from the bonfire, gaze up into the night sky and you’ll behold an explosion of color and light that symbolises – well, lots of things, but in this case, an expansion of possibilities.

Because this week, we have a really useful update for you: the ability to make layers scrollable.

Now your layers aren’t just limited to pop-up opt ins or tiny messages – you can include lots more information. More possibilities, more buying opportunities… anything you can cram in.

Like what? Well, we managed to dig out the Idea Ball from where it fell behind the sofa last week and gave it a good old kick about. How do these sound:

  • Extended product descriptions
  • At-a-glance ‘About’ or ‘Contact’ information
  • Image zooms
  • Pop up survey!
  • Mini landing page or upsell

…The possibilities are metaphorically endless.

FEATURES

Scrolling layers – previously static, we’ve added the option to make super-long layers which scroll just like your main page. You can either have the layer scroll and the page static behind it, or the layer static and the page scrolling behind it. Layers are static by default, but it’s easy to switch on scrolling in the Layers panel.

[PRO] Demio API – welcome Demio! We’ve added this goodlooking webinar platform to our API collection.

[PRO] New templates – 3 new ones for the collection:
