We made it – it’s 2021!

And we’re kicking off the brand new year with some stellar updates for you that’ll have you making sales, making bank, and making a mark in your industry in the coming months.

FEATURES

Pages – we’ve optimised the code we use to create hover effects, and we’ve also optimised our image handling. This means page size has been reduced significantly, so your pages now load faster than ever. Small pages won’t notice much but there’ll be a noticeable load time increase on big pages. Please republish your pages if you have a need for speed.

Mobile checkout – when you add a telephone number form field input, anyone entering data on a mobile device will have their mobile number keypad pop up instead of the normal keyboard. This takes away a lot of the hassle.

Discounts – now, you can see what discounts were applied to products in the Orders screen. This means you can see at a glance what coupons are performing well.

Taxes – you can also now see the amount of tax paid on a product in the order details. This is so you can see how much you owe the government. We won’t pay the taxes for you (that update is NOT coming soon), but we hope it makes tax season a bit easier for you!

Shipping – we’ve also added the amount of shipping paid on a product in the order details so you can refer back to it in future.

BUGS

Publishing – some users were experiencing issues with published pages loading and crashing. When this occurs and you went to close the tab and go back to the page editor, you found it frozen. We hotfixed this around New Year, so your pages will have been served hot and fresh as usual.
