Convertri Updates – 21/04/20

It’s a beautiful day to stay indoors.

We hope this update finds you coping with the current situation (otherwise known as “All This” and “These Strange Times”), and that you and your loved ones are happy and healthy.

Remember: you don’t have to be productive right now. It’s totally fine if you just have the energy to survive, and do nothing else. If you fancy being productive, or just looking as if you are, Convertri is here for all your sales funnel needs.

But if you can’t muster the get-go to get going, here’s a helpful list of accomplishments you can use to measure your progress:

Opened your eyes in the morning (woohoo! Thanks, sleep!)
Drank a liquid (plain water is great, but hey, the flat Red Bull from last night is like 30% water so you’re still hydrating – good job!)
Looked at a plant (that tree over the road? Your scraggly houseplant? That worrying damp mould on the wall? Nature is amazing!)
Breathed in (pair with a luxurious exhale for total body oxygenation!)

You’re doing great!

This week, we’ve got a whole host of bug fixes to keep the road to Convertri success nice and bump-free. Take care, and check out what other features we’ve got in store for you..

FEATURES

Mobile – we’ve updated the mobile editor to display page backgrounds over the whole page. If you had your background set to “repeat: none”, it would only display the background for the first viewport on mobile. This is now no longer the case, and backgrounds will spread over the entire page, no matter which way your device squeezes it.

BUGS

Cursor – the cursor was going wacky and not displaying the correct resizing or moving options when you moved your mouse over the handle of a bounding box surrounding an element. This was, to put it mildly, an absolute flippin’ headache. We fixed it.

Sub-accounts – a limited sub-account user – clients of Agency accounts – couldn’t use funnels with missing shared headers and footers. Now, they can do so as much as they like.

Autowebinars – autowebinar page suggestions showed shared headers and footers. These are obviously not great places to send your sign-ups, so we’ve recalibrated the navigation and it’ll now only show real pages.

Elements – clicking off an element to deselect it stopped working. We’re not sure when it happened, but it won’t any more.

Headers and Footers – the page count for pages including shared headers and footers was incorrect. We gave it a calculator, and now it’s fine.

Headers and Footers – shared headers and footers counted towards your page limit. This was obviously not ideal, so we fixed it. This also affected funnel share codes: headers and footers were being imported as separate pages, and shown as pages in the funnel preview. We fixed those issues as well.

Layers – if a non-mobile layer was being shown when the view switched from desktop to mobile, the layer displayed in the mobile editor and then couldn’t be unselected. We fixed it.

HTML Forms – if a page has an HTML form (otherwise known as a ‘classic form’), the conversion dialog would not open. We fixed it.

Videos – if you uploaded a video, it would sometimes get stuck on the uploading stage, but still upload fine. We fixed this bug.

Clone Elements – if you tried to clone an element to another funnel, you might not have been able to find one. We’ve refreshed the list and all your funnels should now be visible in the Clone Element dropdown.

Stay safe, and happy converting!

Beth
