Convertri Updates 10/09/19
Beth here, I’m back, and glad to report Scotland’s two day summer is officially over and our farmers’ tans have retreated into the fleece-lined sleeves of our tartan pullovers.
I’ve spent this rainy morning catching up on Convertri updates, and I was unsettled to say the least by the bombshell Neil dropped last week – how can anyone be so-so on pumpkin spice lattes? I’ve had four since yesterday.
Not Starbucks. Here in the UK, workman’s fave chain Greggs released their own PSL. It costs a quid less, and you get money off if you also buy a sausage roll. Cracking.
But the real beauty of pumpkin spice is it comes in a variety of options. Don’t like lattes? You can enjoy gourd-y goodness in a pie, in a peanut butter, or via gently flickering candle in a rainy window – there’s an option for everyone. It’s a truly democratic synthetic flavour.
(Not sure they do it in a sausage roll, but Greggs, if you’re listening – that would be terrible, please don’t. Don’t.)
No matter your prospect’s favourite flavour, with this week’s new checkboxes update you can make sure all the options are available to them when it comes to checking out your products, and tell them about it with handy dandy labels.
Take a look by hitting CTRL+SHIFT+R (or CMD+SHIFT+R if you’re on a Mac) to see what’s new:
FEATURES
Checkboxes – we’ve granted checkboxes new and shiny powers to talk to autoresponder tags! This means that from now on, you can use checkboxes to segment leads, or let them choose from multiple bump sales, not just one. Assign tags in the Properties panel, and your prospects will be tagged with all relevant tags when multiple checkboxes are checked.
Checkbox Text – checkboxes didn’t have labels, so if you wanted text next to your checkbox you had to add a text element beside it. This wasn’t intuitive, so we’ve added a text area next to your checkbox which you can edit in its Properties panel.
SmartEngage – say hello to our newest API integration, SmartEngage! Find this awesome autoresponder with the others in the Integrations screen.

BUGS
Background images – if you had a non-image element with a background image, say a countdown timer for example, that background image may not have been loading correctly. We’ve fixed it.
Background videos – for some reason, iOS decided it didn’t like our background videos and refused to play them. We’ve managed to convince it to play nice.
Happy converting!
Beth
