On this day in 910 AD, the last major Viking army to raid England is defeated at the Battle of Tettenhall by the allied forces of Mercia and Wessex, led by King Edward and Earl Aethelred.

In 1305, William Wallace (who cinemagoers know as Braveheart) was captured by the English near Glasgow and transported to London for trial and execution.

And in 1864, the US Civil War was raging and the Battle of Mobile Bay was won by the Union Army led by Rear Admiral Farragut with the cry: “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!”

This week, we’re battling against bugs and going full speed ahead on our own Mobile efforts, with updates to the text editor as well as some fancy new page templates for all you Pro users.

All of the help docs in the Layers category are currently being revised and updated to reflect the recent updates to the Layers panel. Discover the new look in progress by clicking here:

FEATURES

Mobile – you can now select text scaling options for entire text elements, without having to go in and fiddle with individual words and paragraphs. Just select your text element in Mobile view, and change font size scaling in the Text toolbar.

BUGS

Domains – you might have experienced problems while switching your WWW subdomain to use our nameservers. We’ve now fixed the issues so that your root domain will be created, your DNS records will be safe if your root domain already existed and you will be redirected to valid Records screen after switching.

Layers – you may have experienced some issues with layer start visibility. These are now fixed, so your layers will now properly start visible or invisible, according to the option you choose.

GoToWebinar – if you tried to connect your GoToWebinar account when you didn’t have any active webinars, you may have seen an error. We’ve fixed it.

YouTube – on layers that weren’t visible on start, YouTube thumbnails were fading in all pixelated. That’s fixed now.
