Convertri Updates – 25/06/19

Technical tweaks and developer jiggery-pokery abound in this week’s installment of Convertri updates.

More information is the name of the game, with API and IP address updates that may just knock your socks off… if you’re into that kind of thing.

Meanwhile, I’m still manning the phone desk, awaiting your call.

If you have any feedback or suggestions about what we do here at Convertri, you can jump on a live chat with me and be heard. Click here:

Choose a slot, enter your Skype, grab a cup of Joe and I’ll ping you when I’m online. Trust me, we listen – anything you’ve got to say will help make Convertri better for everyone.

(Call hours are Monday and Tuesday, 8.30am-4pm UK time, but if you don’t like Skype or would prefer an out of hours call, just let me know in the Facebook group.)

Meanwhile, just hit CTRL+SHIFT+R – or CMD+SHIFT+R if you’re on a Mac to see the new updates:

HELP DOCS

A couple of small changes and a new doc this week. Firstly, a resource for all of you who custom code their own webhooks:

https://help.convertri.com/article/264-custom-webhooks-reference

Also, a note about Page Triggers has been added here:

And as GoToWebinar have discontinued their HTML integration, this doc has been amended:

FEATURES

IP Addresses – good news if you love crunching data: we now include IP addresses in custom webhook calls. This means if you do custom order processing with self-hosted software that receives webhooks from Convertri, you can use your customers’ IP addresses for your marketing and anti-spam purposes.

API Logs – on the developer side of things, a few lines of code have been written that now allow us to collect API failures in logs. This means on the rare occasion that something goes wrong with your autoresponder or webinar service, it’s much easier and faster for us to solve the problem. Winning!

BUGS

Custom Domains – before, if you entered a custom domain via nameservers that included a dot where there shouldn’t have been one, it wouldn’t work. Now, Convertri just removes dots that won’t work, so you don’t have to worry.

Happy converting!
