Oh what fun it is to squash some bugs,
With new features all the way!

It’s nearly that time of year yet again, and whatever, whenever and however you celebrate the season, all of us here at Convertri want to wish you a lovely one.

And whether you’re squeezing in some last-minute optimisations or using your time off to curl up on the sofa with a cocoa and deep-dive into page building, we have the usual roundup of bug fixes and new features to see you through the festive madness.

So to see the updates, just hit CTRL+SHIFT+R (or CMD+SHIFT+R if you’re on a Mac):

FEATURES

Panels – now, when a background image is set for a Panel element, it will automatically be converted into an Image element, so you can benefit from image-specific features like image compression customization or image effects. When you clear background image for your Image element, it will be converted back to a Panel element. We’ve migrated all existing Panels with background image set to Images, so using older templates or maintaining existing sites will be easier.

BUGS

Properties Panel – the X coordinate and the width in an element’s Positioning properties was showing inaccurate values if the selected element is full-width. We’ve now hidden those values if the element is full-width.

Mailchimp – this API integration gets only up to 10 fields from your list, so you could have problems with mapping some of your custom fields to your Convertri form. That sucked for physical product sellers. We got rid of that limit.

Page Builder – when a full-width element was a part of a multiple selection, or when a selected group was built inside full-width element, it was still possible to move non-full-width elements horizontally, which would cause the group to get a bit messy. We fixed it.
