Convertri Updates – 14/08/18
This week’s update is super special…
It’s the 100th Convertri update!
Now, I’m sure we’ve been shipping baller features and expert bug fixes for much longer…
(And, truthfully, I don’t have a lot of faith in my numbering system.)
But the UpdateSpedometer™ here in my mail client hit the pleasingly round triple digit centenary this afternoon, and whether an error or no, I like round numbers.
So what have we got to celebrate this week?
Read on, and let’s find out together…

Page speed: there’s nothing we do better at Convertri.
We all know it’s important… but when you see it in numbers, just how critical page speed is to conversion rate is a little bit frightening.
How long do you reckon it would take 40% of consumers to abandon a loading page?
Find the answer in our latest blog post: if you dare…

HELP DOCS
Nothing this week, but check out all the video walkthroughs and help articles 24/7 at our Knowlegebase:
FEATURES
Webhooks – we now include currency code in webhook data, so your third-party integrations will now know what currency your payments are in.
Page templates [PRO] –
Data Xfer (sales page) – a well-connected page for internet and technology services.
Blueberry (opt-in) – a juicy and holistic wellness opt-in.
Counsel (thank you) – bright and reassuring, like all the best counsellors.
BUGS
Domains – we’ve cleared up our hints when adding records in the Domains screen, so they should be easier to follow.
Domains – when adding DNS records to the main domain connected via nameservers, things worked fine when leaving Name field empty in Create/Edit a DNS Record dialogs, but there have been problems when using @ (common indicator of naked domain being a host). We’ve fixed the issues.
Webhooks – it was possible that newly set webhooks weren’t being sent for recurring payments if that product was not using a webhook at the time of original purchase. We fixed that.
Form Input Elements – cloning input elements would copy the assigned form field for HTML forms. We’ve fixed that so the field will be cleared for the clone, as re-using the same form field on multiple form inputs is a big no-no.
Currencies – after changing your currency, the old one may have still popped up in a few places in the Dashboard. We fixed this issue.
Multiple Selection – in rare cases, single selected elements were behaving like multiple selections in our UI, which made it impossible to perform single-selection-only operations like changing some values in the Properties panel. We cleared up the confusion, and now it’s fixed.
Cloning – in some cases, the Z-axis (back and forward) order of elements was not being preserved after cloning. We’ve Marie Kondo-ed the place up, and everything should remain neat and organised.
Mobile – for a while, you couldn’t move elements horizontally with the arrow keys in Mobile view. We fixed that.
Happy converting!
