Convertri Updates – 16.01.17
There’s an old saying:
The only advert you like, is your own.
(Okay, it’s not that old. And it’s not a saying, I made it up. But feel free to tweet that.)
It’s likely you have AdBlock installed… even if you love marketing.
I’m not here to judge – just to let you know, that’s why a few of our users have had dicky text elements lately.
Because active (i.e. on your page) text elements are now hosted in iFrames within the Page Builder, your ad blocking extension – in a few, isolated cases – may be reading them as ads, and blocking them.
If this is happening to you, just whitelist Convertri by heading to the Page Builder, clicking on the AdBlock button in your toolbar and toggling off Enabled on This Site.
(And, while you’re at it, please do consider donating the price of a cup of coffee to your hardworking local journalists. Sponsored content is almost always fake news.)
Anyway, now that we’ve got that out of the way, here’s the features – and remember, if you’re using Convertri right now, you’ll need to force-refresh (CTRL + SHIFT + R, or CMD + SHIFT + R if you’re on a Mac) your browser to see the changes:
FEATURES
Feedback – we’ve added in a popup that’ll appear occasionally to ask you to rate how we’re doing. We’ve added this in to try and keep better track of how we’re performing, because we think this matters for delivering a quality service – but we also don’t want it to be too intrusive. That’s why it’ll only appear every 90 days.
New templates [PRO] –
Octogon – gorgeous hues meld with modern branding for this long form template;
Conversion Cloud (Upsell) – an exclusive upsell template in the Conversion Cloud series.
Float (Upsell) – grab another couple sales with this uplifting upsell.
BUGS
Sub-accounts [AGENCY] – apparently Convertri didn’t like it if Agency users hung around in sub-accounts too long and it was kicking them back to the main account. We had a stern word, and it’s now fixed.
SSL – the API we use to issue SSL certificates was suspended with no prior notice, so that was a lovely thing to wake up to on Saturday morning. We updated to the most recent version of the API, so everything’s working fine again.
Webinar JEO – a recent upgrade to our tech stack stopped Convertri from saving Webinar JEO account details for the integration. (This was due to a typo that had existed from the beginning, but only started mattering after the upgrade). This has been fixed too.
Here’s the update video, fresh from the oven:
See you next week!
