Convertri Updates – 30/01/24

One of our most often-requested features is a way to be able to adjust links based on data passed into the page.

Think of links being updated via query string the same way as dynamic text. You create a query string, and then set up a way of telling Convertri to replace a bit of the link with what you entered in that query string, or use a default.

And we have some exciting news…

For Pro users, dynamic links can provide a whole new level of functionality to your pages, and let you create complex and personalised experiences like never before.

If you’re Pro, you can find the new Dynamic Links tab in the Page menu when editing your pages, and try it out for yourself!

FEATURES

Dynamic links [PRO] – you can now set up dynamic links on your page, which will automatically replace a part of the link with a query string you set. Set up dynamic links in the Page menu of the Page Builder.

BUGS

No bug fixes this week, so here’s a bug fact: did you know that some species of ants can actually farm fungus? Leafcutter ants collect leaf fragments which they use to cultivate a specific type of fungus in their underground colonies for food. Now imagine them with little farmer hats – aww!

And, on this day in history, we’re celebrating the birthday of Welsh actor Christian Bale, who was born January 30th, 1974. Famous for leading movies such as American Psycho, we think he would love our template set Words. Just look at that subtle off-white colouring. The tasteful thickness of it. You can even alter the transparency of an image to create a watermark. And while Silian Rail isn’t available on Google Fonts yet, a pretty close approximation would be EB Garamond.
