It’s our last update before the big day—or, if you don’t celebrate Christmas, that one day a year a ton of people go kooky for caroling and insist they enjoy things like mincemeat and Brussels sprouts.

Quite honestly, while it has lost a lot of its original meaning, Yuletide remains a cracking excuse to take the day off and watch Wallace & Gromit… which makes it a hallowed holiday in the Convertri calendar.

So whatever you’re doing this week, however and whatever you’re celebrating, if you’re carrying on as normal or blocking out now ‘til 2024, we hope the next few days bring you peace, joy, happiness, excellent cheese, and the companionship of great people.

But if you happen to be Convertri-ing right up until Christmas, we’ve got some great updates for you to make your season joyful.

FEATURES

Memberships: no login required – before now, memberships had locked access even if you gave them away for free. Now, we’ve given you the ability to remove the login page, so anyone can access your content without logging in. Find the Membership Only toggle in the Settings area of your membership site.

BUGS

No bug fixes this week, so here’s a bug fact: did you know that there’s a species of beetle named after Santa Claus? It’s called the Santa Claus beetle (Diabolocatantops clauseni). This beetle was discovered in Madagascar and named after the holiday figure due to its red and white coloration, resembling Santa’s iconic suit.
