I’m back from my so-called “holiday” – I don’t call running a half-marathon a holiday, but I’ve no one else to blame, I did it to myself – and there’s a bunch of bug fixes and more interesting stuff for you in the update this week.
So, while I replenish my carbs (it’s nearly Easter, after all) and rub my aching muscles, read on to discover what’s new around Convertri HQ.
FEATURES

BUGS
Paragraph spacing – some issues may have arisen with spacing on published pages. What was happening was that the text wasn’t where the editor made you think it was: in other words, the editor was misrepresenting the text position, and the published page was always correct. We’ve fixed the issue, so now you’ll always know exactly where to place your prose.
Form widget – when using a dropdown input in the form widget, you may have seen the option to set it to be pre-filled from a query string parameter. This should never have appeared because the dropdown cannot be configured this way, so we removed it.
Form widget – if the ‘show cart info’ toggle is turned on for the form widget and a product has no shipping or tax, these two items display on the form in the editor (when they shouldn’t be) but not on the live page (which is to be expected). We fixed it.
Form widget – the placeholder text reverts back to the default text when reopening the form widget builder. This only happens with the input selected is a dropdown. We fixed it, so that when you change the placeholder text it won’t go back to default when you reopen the builder.
Videos – when you view your page in Safari, the play button in a video does not show up and the video element screen is black. We’ve fixed it.
