Convertri Updates – 8/8/17
Beth’s currently on vacation wandering on a small Scottish island, so either:
A) she’ll be back in a couple of weeks,
B) she’s walked into a horror movie and probably won’t be coming back at all
We’re all hoping it’s A, but until she returns to the Convertri offices bedraggled and muttering about tentacles you’re stuck with me again.
This week, we’ve been making a chunk more progress on the UI upgrade. I’m biased, but it’s looking ridiculously good.
Here’s a bit more of a tease:

That’s a mockup of what we’re aiming for, so it’ll look similar but probably not exactly like that when it’s released.
But it will be very very pretty. And a lot more usable, too.
We’ve also got something pretty special in the works for Pro and Agency users.
We’re probably going to need to do a staged rollout on this one, so I’m not going to be giving out too many details before we know exactly how we’re going to do it.
Watch this space.
These big projects have taken up most of our time, but we’ve got a few little features and fixes for you too.
As always, force-refresh (CTRL + SHIFT + R, or CMD + SHIFT + R if you’re on a Mac) your browser to see the changes:
FEATURES
[PRO] Market Hero API integration: this new autoresponder’s been making waves with a few people, and now you can hook it up to your Convertri account.
[PRO] Templates: 3 new templates have been added to the premium collection.
BUGS
[PRO] APIs: The Mailchimp API was only returning 10 lists at a time, due to some interesting coding choices (not even at our end, this time). We’ve updated the integration so now you should see all your lists, no matter how many of them you have.
YouZign: The design selector wasn’t displaying the graphics, due to the size we were using no longer being supported by their API. We’ve updated our integration so we use a size that is, and now it’ll look pretty again.
Stripe: Errors in processing payments weren’t being displayed to the visitor, the page just sat and spun. We’ve fixed this so now the user will get a message if checkout fails.
Analytics: A minor style change to make sure the headline stats numbers don’t overflow the boxes when they get too large.
WordPress plugin: The plugin wasn’t working – at all – if your host used PHP 5.3. We’ve updated it so now it will. If the plugin was already working for you fine then you don’t need to bother updating it, this shouldn’t affect you – but if it wasn’t, this update should fix the problem. You’ll need to download and install the new version of the plugin to get the changes.
IN OTHER NEWS
The Q&A webinar we held a couple of weeks ago was a big success, and the replay for it is available here:
In fact, it was so much of a success that we’ve decided to do it again! This Saturday, 11AM EST (or 4PM Brit-time) – Andy will go through a couple of neat things you can do with Convertri and take your questions. Anything you want to know, come and ask.
Just as before, this webinar will be free to join but you will need to register to get the invite link. Sign up here:
